Designry is built with privacy as a core principle. The Service runs entirely in your browser — your design work, color inputs, and token configurations are never sent to our servers. This Privacy Policy explains what limited data we do collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

By using Designry, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the Service:

• Account information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. We do not collect your name, phone number, or address unless you voluntarily provide it.
• Purchase information: When you purchase a Pro license, our payment processor collects your payment details. We receive only a transaction confirmation and your email address — we never see or store your card number.
• Contact form submissions: When you contact us via our contact form, we receive your name, email, and message content.
• Usage data: We may collect anonymized, aggregated usage statistics (e.g., which features are used most frequently) to improve the Service. This data cannot be used to identify you.

3. Local Storage & Browser Data

All design work you create with Designry — including your color palettes, typography choices, spacing scales, and exported tokens — is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device.

Because your data is stored locally, it may be lost if you clear your browser's storage or switch devices. We recommend exporting your system regularly as a backup.

4. Cookies & Analytics

Designry uses a minimal set of cookies necessary to operate the Service, such as session cookies for authenticated users. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

We may use privacy-respecting analytics tools (such as Plausible or Fathom) that do not use cookies, do not collect personal data, and are GDPR-compliant. These tools provide aggregate statistics about site traffic only.

5. Payment Processing

All payment processing is handled by a third-party payment provider. Designry does not collect or store your payment card information. Your payment details are transmitted directly to and stored by our payment processor, subject to their own privacy policy and security standards.

We receive only: your email address, a transaction ID, and confirmation of successful payment.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: We share data with trusted service providers (e.g., payment processors, email delivery services) who need it solely to perform services on our behalf.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before any such transfer.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Contact form messages are retained for up to 12 months and then deleted. Your design data stored in your browser is under your full control and is not retained by us at all.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data.
• Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
• Objection: Object to certain types of processing.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the personal data we hold. All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
